Meet the artist
Juanjo Sáez (Barcelona, 1972) is a creator who has made drawing and painting his own language. His style is instantly recognizable: a bare, seemingly simple stroke that contains irony, tenderness, and a profoundly human perspective.
Trained at the Escola Massana in Barcelona , Sáez found in art a way to think about the world. From his early fanzines to his current works, his work has maintained a unique coherence: to narrate the everyday with honesty, criticism, and sensitivity.
🎨 The artwork
Beyond the clean and minimalist line, what defines Juanjo is his ability to turn the ordinary into reflection. His paintings and drawings speak of urban life, youth, the passage of time, and memory, always with a balance between humor and introspection.
His painting and illustration do not seek to adorn, but to say something. White, silences, and emptiness carry as much weight as the word or the figure. Each work is a fragment of thought and emotion, an invitation to stop and look beyond the obvious.

🌍 A look at contemporary art
Sáez's work doesn't lend itself to easy labels. It moves between comics, illustration, painting, and design, but always from the same place: the need to use art as a mirror and as criticism.
In this gallery you will find a selection of his most personal works, pieces that not only decorate, but also speak, challenge and accompany. Each painting is delivered with its certificate of authenticity and packaging designed to preserve the integrity of the work.
