Juanjo Sáez is a Barcelona-based author, illustrator and animation director with over 30 years of professional practice. His animated feature Heavies Tendres has won awards at Fantasia Montreal, Animest Bucharest and Anilogue Budapest. His book El Arte has been translated into six languages; its original notebooks were acquired by the MNAC (Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya).

El primer libro que hice se tituló: Buenos tiempos para la muerte. Ahora veo las cosas de otra forma. Esta obra es su contrario, su respuesta: el mismo título, invertido. Los buenos tiempos son ahora el propio tema, y se les permite serlo.
