This painting, like everything I make, speaks of a moment in my life: Melissa's pregnancy. Motherhood is a recurring theme in art that I wanted to reinterpret in my own way — minimal, with colour as emotion. It is an oil on canvas. An ideal gift for a mother-to-be.
