A painting that was practically sold before it was finished.

Sa Caleta is one of the most beautiful beaches Sáez has ever been to. It is in Lloret de Mar. He practically sold this painting before finishing it — it is one of his favourites. Oil on canvas.

Acquired by a private collector for €1,100.

Juanjo Sáez is a Barcelona-based author, illustrator and animation director with over 30 years of professional practice. His animated feature Heavies Tendres has won awards at Fantasia Montreal, Animest Bucharest and Anilogue Budapest. His book El Arte has been translated into six languages; its original notebooks were acquired by the MNAC (Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya).

Sa Caleta es una de las playas más bonitas en las que he estado. Está en Lloret de Mar. Esta pintura prácticamente la vendí antes de terminarla. Es una de mis preferidas. Es un óleo sobre tela.
